Bonding!

Can anyone say LAUGHTER!
From the moment we got into the car in Seattle to this very night...I can say we have NOT STOPPED laughing!
The joy level on our house has gone through the roof!
Play has a new meaning again. It has been a while since our "buckets" for "stations" have been dug into so deeply.
We have marbles, rescue heros, cars, blocks, puzzles, beads, paints, colors and cooking happening to NEW levels. There is just an excitment of all the new things. Maybe it won't last forever, but for now the Blaske Kids are FILLING my heart with delight!

Dave and I decided to keep the kids close to home to get some routine and daily life stuff set up for all of us. So far so good....it took a bit of time to see who was going to sweep, empty garbage, feed the cat, and get the one on one time with "mom", but it seems to be rolling along. We adjust as needed, change when things do not "fit" the ability of the child set to do the task...but overall...the eagerness to do things is there. John and Victoria are very hard workers and have set a new pace to the old things our boys have been doing for a while.
It is a race now in the morning to see who can "DRESS" their beds the BEST!!!

One of the things that has been great is MUSIC! Each day when it is station time, we crank the music and sing, dance and sing some more. Victoria is so excited to sing to the song of the "books of the Bible" that the kids are all the way through to "lamentations" (today however the kids said, "please not that CD today :O)"
Music seems to be the "beat" that we can set for our day...all types are played, but overall...it is just ON all the time!
Talk, play, laugh, dance, talk, read, work, laugh, dance....seems to be the way of bonding for the Blaske Bunch!
PRAISE you LORD for all you are doing in all of our hearts as we continue to walk each day seeking to please HIM!
