Up From The GRAVE HE AROSE!
Easter!
This is a great day of celebration!
When I arrived at the Seattle airport on the 14th of March...someone exiting the plane said to the person next to them...."have a great Easter Next week"
I think I gasped out loud...
I guess in my time away in Ghana, it did not even cross my mind that Easter was soooooo close.
So with adjusting at home and getting into the swing of new family life...EASTER came quickly!
Dave and I again were blessed as we started to talk about Easter and prepare the kids, when we realized that they had GREAT deposits into them from their time at Beacon House. (Victoria has a memory like a computer...with no glitches :O)
We were able to go to an amazing Good Friday service and walk the kids through an interactive story of the life of Jesus...it was amazing to worship with them, pray and re-tell the story.

Over 2,000 people came, heard the gospel, played games, ate candy, did an egg hunt and had a fun fun time!
John and Victoria did a great job, even in the crowd. Ashlie works at the church full time in the childrens ministry department....you can see her dancing and singing her heart out LOVING KIDS and LOVING JESUS!
Our weekend was a FULL one, but it was FULL of new and exciting things....Jesus is the ONLY one in ALL of history that died and rose AGAIN...for us! So you can imagine that we had a lot of fun celebrating HIM!
