Celebration!

Off to the beautiful beach we go!
Romana took an hour of "celebration" on our way home. We stopped at the beach.
The kids got to run and play, dig and build, run and play some more.
Stacey and I were able to buy some beautiful paintings from some men walking in the beach. We talked to them about the Lord and His goodness and we Blessed them as they went on their way.
When we were done playing we sat under umbrellas and had "orange Fanta " in glass bottles. It was relaxing and good to just PLAY!

THe traffic was...well Accra traffic...so busy busy but not any different than any other day. While you drive there are vendors that walk in the middle of the road selling EVERYTHING! I mean EVERYTHING.
Stacey and I often gut laugh out loud when we see some of them approach with toilet paper, car cell phone chargers, puppets, wallets, paintings, sculptures, food of many kinds. We have decided that it would be something the USA should look into....it would really help us homeschool BUSY running mommys if at a stop sign or light we could just pay the guy out the window for the toilet paper we were out of at home. hee heee hee!
One of the treats that make the kids squeal with delight is "plantains" Looks like a banana but you HAVE to cook it (right Amanda :O)
We bought some from the vendors and ate them on the way home.
Celebration! It is a good thing!
