Live voice

Have your ever heard the good marriage advice "try not to make decisions late at night or when you are tired?"
Dave and I try to operate with this in mind...but being half way around the world makes this almost impossible.
Tonight we worked it out that we could "talk" on the phone. Ghana's cell company and coverage is what I call "Rolling" one minute you are talking the next min the phone conection is GONE.
Knowing this....when my beloved called (From Phil and Amanda's house...who were having my family over to make sure everyone was getting some Veggies hee heee)
I told him about the phone dropping so hit the important stuff first....
Quick " I love you's " then off to the Embassy talks and the Flight talks and the money talks...hummm, do not make big decisions when you are tired or at night...we hit both...but the good news is that even though the phone dropped twice...and in the end he ended up saying " I can not hear you ...I love you good bye" we still got to TALK and hear eachother.
Did we end up making decisions? I do not know...but we shared alot of "government language" as we tried to accomplish something...
My heart is a bit sad as I could hear my kids and Amananda's kids chatting as they ate...laughing and having some food and fun...the time will come soon when Dave gets here and then we return...until then I am RESTING in the Lord and LOVING reading His WORD more than I even have been able to before.
I have SUCH peace in my heart that my time here is for an Eternal purpose.. so I carry on!
Come soon Honey.....We can talk and make decisions face to face in the morning on the porch at the guest house!
